Okay, here is the scoop. SEO is a big pain in the buns to learn. I highly suggest that you look at the sources below. I have used both of these and they are both an excellent way to learn SEO... for FREE, just choose your learning method, reading on your own, or in a classroom environment.

PLEASE BEWARE: by having someone do your SEO (even a friend or family member) who is not knowledgable, or even if you hire someone without proper research, things can be done accidentally (linking to bad neighborhood websites, sneaking in keywords, etc,) that can DAMAGE your websites reputation and your website can be put in a really big 'time out'... the kind that you really don't want to be in.

Search Engine Optimization Made Easy (FREE)

If you do only one thing for your Search Engine Optimization, download this FREE SEO book and just read it, its an easy read, clean-cut and 'right to the point' with lots of pictures and samples (my kind of book!). Even if you are hiring someone to do SEO for you, read the book! That way you will know what is going on with your website.

SEO Training by GNC Web Creations (FREE)
This is good for total newbies. You sort of have to be willing to just 'follow directions'. There is no hand-holding here, so if you really want to learn and are able to listen and follow specifics, then you will like these courses. The gal who teaches this group is very dedicated to teaching what she knows about SEO. Daily studying and 'homework'. Are you ready to work hard to get to the top?
